Meaning
Everything is in place—water over fire in perfect balance. After completion, only vigilance in small matters prevents decline.
Water over fire in perfect working balance — the kettle exactly on the flame — with every line of the hexagram in its correct place: the book's image of maximal achieved order. Its teaching is thermodynamic: perfect order is the state from which every change is decline, so completion is not a resting place but the most demanding watch of all.
