Meaning
Thunder shocks a hundred miles—yet the worshipper does not spill the wine. Sudden upheaval awakens; keep inner composure amid alarm.
Thunder doubled: shock as a spiritual instrument. The image of the presiding priest who does not spill the sacrificial wine while everyone else scatters is the entire teaching — composure under sudden reversal is not suppression of fear but possession of a center the shock cannot reach.
