Hexagram 34 — Great Power (Dà Zhuàng)

Meaning
Thunder rides the heavens—great power surges. True greatness pairs power with justice; move only in accord with what is right.
Thunder mounted upon heaven: force with altitude. The text's image of the goat butting the hedge is the whole warning — power used on every obstacle indiscriminately ends entangled in the one obstacle that doesn't yield.

Strong feelings need gentle handling; do not bulldoze the beloved. Being right at full volume is a way of being wrong. Your strength of feeling will persuade only when it arrives gently carried.
Career & Work
You have leverage now; use it lawfully and precisely, not brashly. You finally have the leverage — the title, the mandate, the market position. Spend it only where principle and strategy agree, because power used carelessly now writes the case against you later.
